Abstract: |
The synthesis of dimethyl ether (DME) from biomass-derived syngas has been investigated on Cu-ZnO -Al2O3/Zr-HZSM-5 bifunctional catalysts with dif ferent Zr content from 0 to 0.6wt.%.Activity tests were performed in a continuous flow fixed-bed reactor. The catalytic functionalities, such as CO conversion and DME selectivity, showed their maxima on the bifunctional catalyst with 0.2wt.% Zr content. C atalysts were characterized by means of BET, TPR, and NH3-TPD.
