Resume:
Dr. Cheng-Meng Chen, born in 1985 in Zoucheng, Shandong Province, now serves as researcher and principle investigator of Group of Graphene and Renewable Energy Materials (Group 709) in the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICC, CAS). Dr. Chen is the deputy director of Key laboratory of Carbon Materials, CAS, and Shanxi Engineering Research Center of Graphene Technology. During work, he also serves as member of Chinese Society of Particuology, Youth Innovation Promotion Association CAS, and China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry. He is appointed as the expert of IEC/TC113 and SAC/TC279 Standards Board based on his outstanding contribution to standardization. Dr. Chen received his B.S. degree from China University of Mining and Technology in 2006, and Doctoral degree from ICC, CAS in 2012. From 2010 to 2011, he studied in Fritz Haber Institute, Max Planck Society as a joint PhD student. His research focuses on advanced carbon materials and the devices exploitation. Dr. Chen has directed and completed more than 20 projects from governments and companies, and published 118 SCI papers in Adv Mater, Adv Funct Mater, Chem Commun, J Mater Chem, and Carbon, etc., with other citations above 4700 times. Dr. Chen held 18 granted patents, published 1 book at Springer, and directed 7 standards of international and national level. Dr. Chen was awarded with First prize of Shanxi Province Natural Science Award, First prize of Tianjin Natural Science Award, China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation and Achievement Award, Hou Debang Youth Award for Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Youth Particuology Award of Chinese Society of Particuology. Moreover, he was selected as a member of The Innovators under 35 China 2017, and ‘Morning Star’ Excellent Talent of Beijing Branch, CAS.
